I am the manager of Angel Band. I was voted in as manager by the members of the group at the time. I have always loved
Southern Gospel music and always wanted to sing. I was brought up by parents who loved gospel music and my
Dad was a great musician. He could play any instrument he set his mind to. I, however, am not that talented. I have chosen to use what ever talent God has given me to sing and present Jesus to as many as will listen. I also encourage as many young folks as possible to use their talent and God will give more. I learned a long time ago that God is looking for availability more then ability. When the anointing comes to a singer it touches the heart of the people and without it, in the ears of God, it is as a sounding brass and tingling cymbal. I am the lead singer and have sung with other groups such as Trinity, the Missionairs, and the Light House Singers.
This group was started in August of 2000. Although we have had some group changes, most of the original group are still with us and we add on. We now have 9 members. We have a full band, a female Quartet, and two or three that sing solos occasionally. God has truly blessed us. We have a bus that we travel in, which gives us a great time of fellowship and some practicing while on the road.
We in Angel Band desire your prayers that souls will continue to come to know Jesus and that one day every mile we have traveled and every cord that has been rolled up, every trial and tribulation that we have endured to continue this ministry will be known to us on the other side. If you don’t know Jesus, right now is the time to ask him into your heart. No waiting around – it might be later than you think. My love to all in Jesus -
